Word has spread that the 17,000-square-foot, 90-year-old brick Tudor-style mansion on Sedgefield’s Adamsleigh estate likely will be demolished soon. The owner isn’t talking, but lots of other people are.

The Adamsleigh Estate, built in 1930, sits near Sedgefield Country Club between Greensboro and Jamestown. Word has spread that the 17,000-square-foot, 90-year-old brick Tudor-style mansion on Sedgefield’s Adamsleigh estate likely will be demolished soon. The owner isn’t talking, but lots of other people are.
