Is your water fountain lead-lined?
If you have a Halsey Taylor water fountain (water cooler) that is 40 years old or older, it's possible it may have a lead-lined tank.
You can check by looking for a model number or serial number on the fountain (may be on the side or underneath the tank).
The following six model numbers have one or more units in the model series with lead-lined tanks:
WM8A, WT8A, GC10ACR, GC10A, GC5A, RWM13A
The following models and serial numbers contain lead-lined tanks:
WM14A, Serial No. 843034; WM14A, Serial No. 843006; WT11A, Serial No. 222650
WT21A, Serial No. 64309550; WT21A, Serial No. 64309642; LL14A, Serial No. 64346908.
You may want to contact a plumber for help if you have questions or concerns. Some models may not contain a lead tank or may have had their tank replaced.
