North Carolina State researchers are working at the Upper Piedmont Research Station on a variety of experiments on Black Angus cattle. Experiments rang from the feed needed to gain optimum weight to artificial insemination on Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, in Reidsville, N.C. Researchers at N.C. State University are working on a variety of experiments on Black Angus cattle, ranging from the type of feed needed to gain optimum weight to artificial insemination, at the Upper Piedmont Research Station in Reidsville. Once heifers are out of the controlled feeding experiment, they are then breed for genetic studies.
