UNCG students wait in line to get a university ID on Aug. 11. Mask-wearing and social distancing are the norm all over these days, and be practiced at area colleges this fall. But because colleges are large and crowded places, sometimes with thousands of young adults living on their campuses, higher education institutions have plenty to worry about.

But because colleges are large and crowded places, sometimes with thousands of young adults living on their campuses, higher education institutions have plenty to worry about.
