From Dec. 18 through 20, Greensboro Ballet will show its performance of "The Nutcracker" on a big screen in the Greensboro Coliseum parking lot, drive-in style.

Greensboro Ballet dancers perform "The Nutcracker" at the Carolina Theater in Greensboro on Dec. 2. Over four nights theater, local filmmaker Paul Byun recorded separate scenes with Greensboro Ballet dancers in costume, and masks to match. Byun will edit it into one seamless ballet with recorded music.

Greensboro Ballet dancers perform "The Nutcracker" during a taping on Dec. 2. The performance will be viewed at 7 p.m. Dec. 18 and 4 and 7 p.m. Dec. 19-20 at Greensboro Coliseum parking lot, 1921 W. Gate City Blvd. in Greensboro. Tickets are $60 per vehicle and are available at greensboroballet.org

During Greensboro Ballet's prerecorded performance of "The Nutcracker," audiences will get different views and close-ups, normally not possible in a traditional theater experience, said Jennifer Gentry, interim executive director of Greensboro Ballet.

On Dec. 2, Greensboro Ballet dancers performed "The Nutcracker" at the Carolina Theater in Greensboro. The show will be livestreamed at Greensboro Coliseum parking lot, drive-in style.

From Dec. 18 through 20, Greensboro Ballet will show its performance of "The Nutcracker" on a big screen in the Greensboro Coliseum parking lot, drive-in style.

Greensboro Ballet dancers perform "The Nutcracker" at the Carolina Theater in Greensboro on Dec. 2. Over four nights theater, local filmmaker Paul Byun recorded separate scenes with Greensboro Ballet dancers in costume, and masks to match. Byun will edit it into one seamless ballet with recorded music.

Greensboro Ballet dancers perform "The Nutcracker" during a taping on Dec. 2. The performance will be viewed at 7 p.m. Dec. 18 and 4 and 7 p.m. Dec. 19-20 at Greensboro Coliseum parking lot, 1921 W. Gate City Blvd. in Greensboro. Tickets are $60 per vehicle and are available at greensboroballet.org

During Greensboro Ballet's prerecorded performance of "The Nutcracker," audiences will get different views and close-ups, normally not possible in a traditional theater experience, said Jennifer Gentry, interim executive director of Greensboro Ballet.
