The crowd at Tuesday's Guilford County Board of Elections meeting applauded Democratic member Carolyn Bunker's push for on-campus voting sites. When Chairman Eugene Lester, a Republican, attempted to quiet the crowd, some people yelled back and one man was removed after shouting down the chairman.

The Guilford County Board of Elections adopted an early voting plan which will include 17 early voting sites but declined to add sites at N.C. A&T and UNCG which have been sought by students and local activists.
