Greensboro City Council members are expecting to make a decision this summer on whether to use the city’s White Street Landfill to dispose of contaminated dirt from a local park.

Malinda Pagett criticizes a city proposal to use White Street Landfill for the disposal of contaminated soil from Bingham Park. Pagett, who spoke Wednesday, was particularly concerned about the nature of the contaminants and having the material brought into the area around the landfill.
