During law school, Moy interned with the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs and the Wounded Warrior Project. “Many people would have given up long before they got here,” said Judge James L. Gale, who administered the oath.

Moy gets a kiss from her boyfriend, Blake Harrell, after she was sworn in to the state bar association in October after passing the state bar exam.

After she was left for dead in a 2008 house fire, a depressed Moy knew she had to fight back. "I realized that if I didn’t change the way I was thinking, I was going to be a victim my whole life."

During law school, Moy interned with the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs and the Wounded Warrior Project. “Many people would have given up long before they got here,” said Judge James L. Gale, who administered the oath.

Moy gets a kiss from her boyfriend, Blake Harrell, after she was sworn in to the state bar association in October after passing the state bar exam.

After she was left for dead in a 2008 house fire, a depressed Moy knew she had to fight back. "I realized that if I didn’t change the way I was thinking, I was going to be a victim my whole life."
