The Greensboro-based United Animal Coalition, which operates two animal shelters — one in Guilford County and one in Davidson County— is under investigation by several agencies over allegations of animal cruelty and abuse. This female dog was adopted last week at the Davidson County Animal Shelter in Lexington.

The Greensboro-based United Animal Coalition, which operates two animal shelters — one in Guilford County and one in Davidson County— is under investigation by several agencies over allegations of animal cruelty and abuse.
