Lucian Eugene Rice
September 27, 1935 - October 12, 2026
Lucian Eugene Rice, 91 of Kernersville, passed away on October 12, 2026, under the care of Piney Grove Nursing and Rehabilitation in Kernersville. Born on September 27, 1935, in Guilford County, N.C., he was the son of the late John W. Rice and Hattie Long Rice and the husband of the late Carolyn Miller Rice.
Lucian is survived by his goddaughters, Amy Welch and Lynn Warren; his nieces, nephews extended family and friends.
A graveside funeral service will be held at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory, 530 Dobson Street, Kernersville 27284 on Tuesday, October 20th, at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Sandy Ridge Global Methodist Church. Friends and family may sign the guestbook online at www.riercejeferrsonfh.com.
