Ella J. Wertz
Ella J. Wertz, 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 11th at Beacon Place, a Hospice care center, in Greensboro, N.C. Ella is survived by her daughters, Kristen Sanders (Kenny) and Megan Ray (Gavin); grandchildren, Ken Sanders (Kaitlyn), Mitchell Sanders (Allyssa), Isabel Ray, and Owen Ray; and great-grandchildren, Beau, Kenneth, Owen and Violet; and her cat, Sophie.
Remembrance services will be held on Saturday, November 7th at 11 a.m. at St. Francis Episcopal Church where she was an active member. The service will also be live streamed at https://stfrancisgreensboro.org/live/.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Greensboro Urban Ministry, North Carolina Zoo, or St. Francis Episcopal Endowment Fund.
