Edward Schone Obituary
Edward (Ed) Schone, beloved husband of Maria Davis Schone, passed peacefully from this life on October 13, 2026. Ed was a US Army Veteran and served in Germany, Barbados, the Middle East, the Pentagon and MacDill AFB in Tampa, FL.
After leaving the military and earning his bachelor's degree, he was employed at Peoples Gas in Tampa, FL, Burlington Industries in Greensboro, NC, Microsoft and Ally in Charlotte, NC. Ed's passions were technology, mountain biking, being outdoors and especially music – rock and roll music. He sang day and night, at home, at work and sometimes even in his sleep. Ed leaves Maria, his wife of 44 years, and his two chihuahuas, Lalo and Birdie, all who will miss him dearly.
