FIVE THINGS ABOUT TARIK COHEN

Oversized talent. Yes, the 5-foot-6, 179-pounder is small for an every-down running back. But he's durable, missing just one game (at Howard in 2014) and averaging 21.7 touches as a runner and receiver out of the backfield.

Records. He is the MEAC's career leader with 5,054 (and counting) rushing yards. About the only A&T school record he hasn't broken (yet) is Stoney Polite's 18 TDs in a single season set in 1986.

Cutback ability. Has 4.3-second speed in the 40-yard dash, exceptional vision and instincts. But the cutback ability is truly special and makes him hard to tackle. Need evidence? Has 47 carries of at least 25 yards, and 10 of his TDs have covered 70 or more yards.

Big, strong hands. Made an internet splash with a video catching a football in each hand while doing a backflip. And since a fumble at the goal line in the last game of the 2014 season, has gone 19 games and 394 carries without losing the football.

Consistency. One of just 10 players in FCS history with four 1,000-yard rushing seasons and on pace to lead the MEAC in rushing four years in a row.
