Breon Pass, the two-sport standout from Reidsville, will take the competitive edge he got from his late father, Curtis, to the N.C. State basketball program after winning another football state title with the Rams.

Reidsville senior wide receiver Breon Pass celebrates after a 53-yard touchdown catch against Burnsville Mountain Heritage in the NCHSAA Class 2-A championship game. Pass says he was thinking of his late father, Curtis. “That last touchdown was for him,” Pass says. “I know he’s watching me. I feel like I left my mark and he’s very proud of me.”

Curtis Pass was a basketball standout at Reidsville before coaching the Rams until his death on June 21, 2019, at the age of 41.
