NCHSAA Class 4-AA Page Wake Forest

Leake was named the 2016 Class 4-AA State Championship Game Outstanding Offensive Player on Saturday. He was one of the last players to leave the field following the 29-0 loss.

Seth Williams, Wake Forest: Williams had two interceptions, including one when Page made its first trip into Cougars territory just before halftime to snuff out the Pirates’ momentum.

Why Page lost

The Pirates made a mistake on their first drive and allowed it to snowball into an uncharacteristic four turnovers. Despite a strong defensive effort, the offensive miscues were too much to overcome.
