Reidsville vs Northeast 2A state football

Reidsville's Travion Canada celebrates with fans after he climbed the wall into the stands after the Rams beat Elizabeth City Northeastern 31-28 to win the NCHSAA Class 2-A football championship Dec. 15 at Carter-Finley Stadium.

Reidsville's Travion Canada rushed for 1,574 yards and 21 touchdowns and caught passes for 474 yards and six touchdowns as a senior. 

Southeast Guilford quarterback Ryan Douglas passed for 2,305 yards and 15 touchdowns and rushed for 964 yards and 19 TDs while leading the Falcons to the NCHSAA Class 3-AA championship game.

Page's Cody King scored 10 touchdowns and threw a TD pass this year.

Southern Guilford defensive end Roman Johnson was among the nation's leaders in sacks when the regular season ended.

Dudley freshman Mekhi Wall burst onto the scene as a kick returner this season. Wall ran back three punts and one kickoff for TDs and also caught 12 passes for 304 yards and two scores and ran for a TD.

Ragsdale's Tré Goode will continue his football career at Charlotte.

High Point Christian's Brycen Thomas caught 47 passes for 833 yards and nine touchdowns.

Northwest Guilford's Cam Cloud was a dangerous return man when teams didn't kick the ball away from him. The Richmond signee also contributed as a runner and receiver for the Vikings.
